Utopia Imagery Studios…  OPEN!

Whew!

Still much to do!

We’ve had several shoots already, conducted a lighting workshop, and have renters reserving studio time! It’s great!  We so appreciate the support for the studio that has already been shown!!!

Utopia held our “Grand Opening Open House” on Friday, Sept 27. Utopia had around 50 creative folks stop in and many of them shot the fantastic models that were there, the amazing Erica Minnick and stylish Joshua Verax! Great food was provided by Chef Lauryn Stokely with fantastic assistance from Utopia resident photographer Charles Gough! It was fun shooting in the new studio.   A great kinda vibe going on!

We will have networking events about every three or four months for models, photographers, videographers, and HMUAs to mix and mingle. We will always have a planned set shoot and a casual shoot set for these events.    The studio also has a fairly large area outside with a nice hill and pine tree to do outside shots, but the weather hasn’t and probably won’t cooperate for a bit.

So…

Our premise is… “you imagine it, we’ll make it happen.”  We have high ceilings, rolling scaffolding, indoor/outdoor shooting, the ability to bring motorcycles or cars in-studio, and set construction experience and desire, special effects experience, special lighting experience, and more. 

But too, and more importantly, we are a studio for the hobbyist, the beginner, those who want to learn and grow artistically and technically.  Utopia offers very reasonably priced rental rates, inexpensive basic workshops monthly at various levels, and more for the photographer or model progressing on their journey.  The studio will have open (free) shoot nights, where everyone shares the fun and the knowledge with occasional online or live events to help folks on their way.
