Studio is Empty and Waiting

Well, as of yesterday, the studio space is empty.  Next step, finalize the deal with the landlord.  He’s super nice and looks like will be a pleasure to work with.

Of course, the “racing stripe” on the wall, along with all the electrical will be painted white.   I’m hoping the heater hanging from the ceiling can be removed, but more on that later.

There is what seems to be an abundance of shelf space, but as we all know, somehow that always seems to fill up and then we want more.    This too will be painted in the days to come.  Props, lighting, tools, and more will reside on these shelves.   Just to the right of the shelves will be vertical storage for tall items.

We have a huge garage door in the back allowing us to move larger props, such as classic cars and motorcycles into the studio.  It will also allow for some fun times with grill outs etc during extended workshops or shoots.

Last but certainly not least, the landlord is putting in a 10k BTU air conditioner / heater.  Yeah!!!!

So we are getting set to take possession and get this beast rolling.  Speaking of rolling, the first thing that will happen is building a rolling scaffolding for painting up high, as well as flying lighting and props.  The scaffolding “Sauron” will be handy for a great many things.

We will be having “pre-finish” showing sometime in the next week to let folks see the before… and then an open house late Sept to display the “after.”  Hope you’ll join us… and maybe even join our affiliates!
