Rates are:
PREMIUM PRIME TIME $25.00/hr (3 hr min)
BASIC PRIME TIME $20.00/hr (2 hr min)
STANDARD TIME $10.00/hr (2 hr min)

Sunday, 1:00 – 10:00
PRIME TIME – Weekday evenings, 5:00 – 11:00
Sunday AM-1:00

If you cross over, the appropriate changes are reflected. For example, if you chose Monday from 4:00 – 6:00, the rental would be Regular hours from 4:00 – 5:00 ($10.00) and Prime hours from 5:00 – 6:00 ($20.00) for a total of $30.00. You may not see the total charge until “checkout.”
Please note that set up, tear down, and clean up must be accomplished within your rental period. There may be rentals before or after yours. Some sessions of resident photographers are NOT recorded in the calendar. You will be charged if you go over or if you leave the studio in a condition other than as you found it. If you find the studio has been left not cleaned up when you have a rental please contact us immediately.
Lighting equipment is included provided the principle photographer renting the studio has taken our “Studio Equipment and Orientation Workshop.” This workshop is offered twice a month and is a two-hour workshop costing $24.00. The workshop covers the equipment, setup and takedown, and features and locations of props/gaffer “stuff” in the studio. It is offered on an “As Needed” basis. A one-on-one workshop can be scheduled for $34.00 if a group session is not workable.
To rent Utopia, select the start date/time you wish from the calendar. The end time has to be modified manually and only on the even hour. When you are ready to confirm and pay, the rate for the first hour will show, but the final payment amount will reflect all the hours selected and adjustments if you change rate in the middle of the shoot time. Sales tax is added at the Kentucky rate of 6%.
When you are ready to get set up to rent, if you are a new renter, create a user profile and log in. If you’ve rented before, use your login.
Debit or Credit card REQUIRED to rent studio. If additional charges are incurred they will be charged to that card.

Lighting Assistant Same rate as rental rate. If the rental rate is $20/hr, assistant is $20/hr.
Custom Sets are exciting and we love doing them. They are priced on request. Custom sets remain the physical and intellectual property of Utopia Imagery Studios unless a prior written agreement has been executed.
We also offer “behind the scenes” videography of your shoot. This service is priced on request.
Some of the small, but important print:
PHOTOGRAPHER or renter is responsible for setting up lighting and putting it away properly, cleaning up after the shoot, and leaving the studio as found… within their rental period.
Persons under the age of 16 not allowed in the studio unless they are one of the subjects of the shoot. Any shoots involving a subject/model under 18 must have a parent present and a signed release along with a picture of the adult’s government-issued ID. That must be submitted to info@UtopiaImageryStudios.net along with at least one clearly identifiable image of the subject/model.
Smoking is not allowed inside the studio except for a maximum 1-2 minute intervals if it is a required part of an image during a shoot. Every effort should be made to have clean dry shoes in the actual studio. Wet shoes leave footprints on our white floor. NO ONE except resident photographers is allowed on the wood or aluminum ladders or on the rolling tower. Only the black and yellow short ladder may be used for elevated shots. No key set components (Bed, walls, windows, etc) should be moved except by resident photographers. Minor props, fabrics, etc, of course, may be moved. Props in Section “A” and “E” are available for general use. Please note there are very sharp knives and other weapons in the prop collection and they must be treated with respect and caution.
NOTE: The renter is liable for ANY injuries sustained to persons, the premises, equipment or other property (regardless of ownership) during their rental period. We STRONGLY suggest you have insurance. Commercial entities using the studio for paid commercial work will be required to submit a COI (Certificate of Insurance) with Parham P Baker Photography LLC listed as a named insured.
